Global investment firm Goldman Sachs named Greg Steltenpohl—the co-founder of fast-growing vegan company Califia Farms—among its top 100 most intriguing entrepreneurs of the year.
During the sixth annual Builders + Innovators Summit, global investment firm Goldman Sachs named Greg Steltenpohl—the CEO of plant-based beverage brand Califia Farms—among its top 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2017. “At Califia, we are on a mission to nourish and inspire the world with the wisdom of a plant-centric lifestyle,” Steltenpohl said. “Our vision is to change the way the world does business by building a leading plant-based food and beverage company of the future, and we are honored to receive this recognition from Goldman Sachs.” During the summit, Goldman Sachs choose Califia Farms as one of nine innovative companies to profile and created a video of the company’s California-based production facility and its local almond supplier. Califia Farms, founded in 2010, is currently an industry leader in the plant-based beverage sector and was named Whole Foods Market’s supplier of the year in 2016.
