Manic Panic Debuts Vegan Makeup at Hot Topic

News

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, hair dye brand Manic Panic partnered with Hot Topic to conceptualize its iconic hair dye colors into a vegan makeup palette.

In honor of its 40th anniversary, vegan hair dye brand Manic Panic announced this week its partnership with retailer Hot Topic in the creation of its Manic Panic x Hot Topic Amplified Eyeshadow Palette. Sisters Tish and Snooky Bellomo founded Manic Panic in 1977, while performing with band Blondie, and are considered pioneers of the 1970s New York City punk rock scene. “We are thrilled to be working with one of our favorite retailers on this collaboration,” Tish Bellomo said. “We couldn’t think of a more perfect match,” Snooky Bellomo said. “We are so excited to give our fans some of our all-time favorite hair colors in the form of eyeshadow. Each shade is beautiful and vibrant, and now you can match with your favorite hair dye.” The new palette features 12 shades named after the duo’s popular hair dye colors, including Virgin Snow, Ultra Violet, and Vampire Red. The Amplified Eyeshadow Palette—which comes in a graffiti-printed case inspired by New York club CBGB—is now available at all 697 Hot Topic locations and online.
