Porgs—the blockbuster's adorable space chickens—are the latest design inspiration behind brand Po-Zu's vegan shoe collection.
London-based apparel brand Po-Zu debuted its newest shoe collection—a vegan line inspired by Star Wars characters known as “porgs,” creatures that resemble space chickens. The shoes—available in both high- and low-top unisex sneaker designs and licensed through Lucasfilm and Disney—are made with ethically sourced organic cotton and Fairtrade rubber soles. The Porg shoes (available for pre-order for delivery in May 2018) are the newest addition to the brand’s Star Wars-inspired shoes, which include the furry “Chewie”—a vegan faux-fur boot inspired by lead character Chewbacca, who was part of a very vegan scene in the latest Star Wars film The Last Jedi.
