New app VeganNation unites vegans on the world's first decentralized vegan ecosystem with its own digital VeganCoin currency.
New app VeganNation launched this week with the mission of uniting vegans worldwide. VeganNation features VeganCoin—a traceable cryptocurrency—that can be used for a number of services offered on the platform, including meal sharing (where users can host or find vegan meals worldwide) and an e-commerce marketplace for vegan goods. “The wise Fela Durotoye said, ‘A nation is not defined by its borders, a nation is defined by adverse people who have been unified by a cause and a value system and who are committed to a vision for the type of society they wish to live in and give to the future generations to come,’” VeganNation CEO Isaac Thomas said. “In today’s digital age, individuals from around the globe can unite to create more than just a community but a nation to create change.” The platform also offers vegan content sharing meetup opportunities offered by ambassadors in an effort to promote vegan activism. “The global vegan community is in need of support and can truly benefit from a unified nation of like-minded people dedicated to the vegan way of life,” Thomas said. “VeganNation is the solution to making the vegan lifestyle more accessible.” VeganNation hopes to create a decentralized global vegan community that is rich with resources to help it thrive.
