CBD-infused gummies are a new cruelty-free way to alleviate anxiety, pain, and seizures.
Los Angeles-based cannabis company CBDfx announced this week the launch of cannabidiol (CBD)-infused vegan gummy bears. The gummies are not made with animal-based gelatin and instead contain organic cane sugar, organic tapioca syrup, water, organic seaweed extract, and organically grown CBD rich hemp oil. Each gummy contains five milligrams of CBD, a non-psychoactive component of marijuana with purported health benefits such as alleviating anxiety, chronic pain, and seizures. “CBDfx believes in ethical and natural product sourcing,” a spokesperson for the company said, “as well as transparency with our customers.” The brand also launched a CBD tincture that features a combination of hemp and medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil. Florida-based company Pop Craft recently announced its intent to launch three vegan popsicles this December, each infused with 25 milligrams of CBD.
