LUSH Debuts 100-Product Vegan Christmas Collection

News

Christmas sweater-themed bath bombs, snow angel luxury bath melts, foamy package-free shower gels, and Santa's belly jellies are all cruelty-free ways to ring in the holiday season.

Vegan-friendly beauty brand LUSH recently debuted its Christmas collection—a 100-item vegan line filled with classic and new products. Recent additions to the line include the Christmas Sweater Bath Bomb (a fizzy bomb infused with clove, coriander, and lemon printed with festive reindeer), Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Scrub (an exfoliating sugar scrub for lips infused with black currant flavor), Twilight Sprinkle Jar (a moon-shaped container housing lavender-infused powder that glitters when sprinkled on skin), and Berry Berry Christmas Naked Shower Gel (a package-free shower gel that foams like its bottled counterpart, infused with cranberry and blueberry juices). The line also includes wrapped Christmas gifts filled with an array of vegan bath products that are accented by ribbons and gift tags. At this month’s Lush Prize gala held in London, LUSH ethics director Hilary Jones—a dedicated vegan activist—said that the company is removing all remaining animal products from its formulations. “It will take one generation,” Jones explained before revealing that egg-based proteins are being removed from shampoos, an animal product she described as “gross.”
