Utah's First Vegan Truck Round-Up Opens Today

News

Six all-vegan vendors will sell falafel, churros, hot dogs, and more to hungry crowds in Salt Lake City.

Six vegan-friendly trucks will gather this weekend in Salt Lake City for Utah’s first-ever Vegan Food Truck Round-Up. Guests will be treated to a smorgasbord of vegan foods such as falafel, hot dogs, veggie jerky, and smoothies by vendors such as Live Fusion Foods, Chiquitos Churros, Falafel Tree, Gerlach’s, Ginger’s Truck, and Poutine Your Mouth. The event will take place in the newly established Food Truck Garden—the city’s only permanent food truck court—near the eatery Reversetaurant, where guests will have the option of dining inside. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to benefit local nonprofit Ching Farm Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.
